Ozark Mountain Hamfest II

The 2nd Annual Ozark Mountain Hamfest will take place January 10th, 2009 at the Faith Lutheran Church in Springfield, MO. Vendors will include WB0W, Associated Radio and more. Demonstrations will be held on several operating modes, and the "Ham Cafe" will return serving breakfast and lunch. The Nixa Amateur Radio Club will provide license testing during the Hamfest. Admission is $5 and tables must be reserved in advance. Please call 417-830-0336 and ask for the Hamfest department for more information.

6-Meter Net

Held every Monday night from 8:00 to 9:00 p.m. on the 53.270 repeater, input is -1.7 MHz, or 51.570 MHz. PL tone is normally 162.2 Hz, but is turned off for the net. Net control operators are Jeff Kerr, KC0VGC, and James French, KC0TQD. The net is a roundtable type net as one would experience on HF and 6-meter sideband. The net is open to everything related to 6-meters and HF. See http://6meter.net for more info.
