April 3, 2010 -- OARS HAMFEST - Mount Vernon, MO

The OARS Hamfest will be held at the Mount Vernon Middle School, 731 Landrum St, Mt Vernon, MO.  Hamfest will run 8am to 4pm.  Admission is $5; vendors to include D&L Antenna, American Antennas and Hilltop Embroidery.  VE Testing at 10AM.  Breakfast, Lunch and Drinks will be available with plenty of room to eat and visit! April 17th, 2010 -- OMAR Antenna Party - Springfield, MO

The OMAR Antenna Party will be on April 17th at the Faith Lutheran Church in Springfield, MO.  Plans are to build a project or two (hopefully the weather will cooperate) and enjoy some eyeball QSOs.  There will be a "crash course" instructional class for anyone that would like to prepare for their Technician exam; and two testing sessions will be held, one in the morning and one in the afternoon.  Please RSVP to us if you are interested in the Technician Class training session, and also check out the "New Ham Resources" link above.  Bring a project to work on and we'll see you on the 17th!
